Papa Johns

In our efforts to stay dynamic with our food choices, I've finally persuaded Danna to eat at Papa John's. Located at Robinson's Galleria Edsa. Their place is in the new Veranda section of the mall. To say that the pizza tasted good would be an understatement. It tasted so good, we forgot to take a picture of it before it was dismantled into oblivion. The crust was done perfectly. It's not too thick, not too thin and it was crunchy and flavorful. The meat toppings were surprisingly noticeable in taste and the cheese was not too plentiful as to obscure the taste of the other ingredients. The pizza also came with a sauce (okay, it was melted butter. Bite me!) that gave the pizza a savory flavor. If you prefer something less buttery, Tabasco sauce and ketchup would go nicely with this dish. The menu includes pasta dishes (which we will try out the next time) and a good choice of beverage ranging from juices to refillable sodas.

To top off the the meal was a gorgeous desert picked out by Danna. I think it was a toffee sans rival kind of thing. It's an unusual combination but it worked pretty well. The blueberry cheesecake is on top of the desert menu. Just the way I like it.

The staff was very attentive and we never had to raise a hand or so much as a nod for them to take the hint. The price is not as expensive as your regular Yellow Cab bill would dish out so it was all in all a very good experience.

I must remember to take more pictures before we pig out or the whole point of this blog is moot.
